SYMPOSIUMS
Thematic symposiums - dates: September 15th, 16th and 17th, 2021
Proposals for the thematic symposiums should be submitted until June 28th, by email to xcoloquio@unisc.br
Submission of paper and poster proposals to be presented within the thematic symposiums will be made through the event's website as of June 30th.

PROPOSALS OF THEMATIC SYMPOSIUMS
The proposals for the Thematic Symposiums must be submitted by professors holding a doctoral degree from different universities. The submissions must inform title, abstract (between 1000 and 1200 characters, 3 to 5 keywords), proponent’s degree and institution, as well as one of the 08 following sub themes:
1) Effects and affects: cognition in a remote world
2) The trans, inter and post: identity narratives and otherness in contemporaneity
3) Mediation and reading: (among) other bridges
4) Camera, microphone, educaction: what does media have to do with it?
5) I know what you posted in your last #tbt: social medias and what they tell about us
6) We need to talk about this: arts, cultures and speeches in (of) dark times
7) Narratives in post-truth times: disinformation and Fake News
8) Interconnections: Language and culture
Note: The acceptance of the symposiums will be sent by email until June 30th.
Coordinators of the Thematic Symposiums will be in charge of:
(i) the selection of submissions to the Thematic Symposium and letters of acceptance to the proponent.
(ii) the distribution of presentations between September 15th and 17th, 2021
(up to 12 presentations, including those by the coordinators).
(iii) the communication of proposals accepted to the commission, by email.
(iv) the presentation of communication in his/her symposium.
