The Technology Degree in Gastronomy offered at Unisc lasts 6 semesters and offers students a great infrastructure that includes: specific library, kitchen labs (for hot and cold dishes), bakery and pastry lab, laboratory for Sensory Analysis, Enology lab and Didactic Restaurant. The course provides students with internship programs that are built in partnership with renowned national and international companies. The teaching staff is composed of professionals who own a Master’s or Doctoral degree and professional chefs. Gastronomic events and community extension activities are held throughout the course.
This course aims at training specialized, creative and entrepreneurial professionals who will be able to work in different gastronomy segments, mastering techniques, knowing different food cultures and being able to manage, coordinate and develop ventures in the fields of food and drink.
