Exchange Programs

Foreign students wishing to apply for an exchange program/internship at UNISC must sent their application through the International Office located in their home institution with the following documents:

  • Application Form
  • Copy of the Passport;
  • Transcripts
  • Statement of Purpose describing the reasons why they are interested in being an exchange student.

All documents must be sent by e-mail to: international@unisc.br. 

AI will assess documentation sent to match to the program the student is applying for and, as soon as possible, it will forward the student his/her letter of acceptance. Thus, the student can apply for the Brazilian visa through the Brazilian Consulate or Embassy in his/her home country.

This form should be filled by foreign institution staff only.

Regular Students

 

Undergraduate Degrees

To register as a regular student in one of our undergraduate degrees, a foreigner must:

- Apply for the University Entrance Exam (More information is available in Portuguese only);

- Own a CPF (Brazilian Social Security Card);

- Be a regular citizen in Brazil;

- If High School Completion Certificate was originally issued in a foreign institution, the student must present a certified translation of this document approved by the Consulate.

- Have good knowledge of Portuguese Language.

Foreigners must take the Entrance exam and be approved on it before enrolling for any degree. Students will be guided on how to enroll on the day of the Exam.

Master´s and Doctorate programs:

To register as a regular student in one of our Master’s and Doctorate programs, a foreigner must apply for the program he/she is interested in and send the documentation requested in each degree.

 

Graduate Degrees

In order to register as a regular student in one of our Distance Learning or on site Graduate degrees, a foreigner must:

- Apply for the specialization degree he/she is interested in and send the documents requested in each course; more information available in Portuguese only www.unisc.br/pg

- Own a CPF (Brazilian Social Security Card);

- Be a regular citizen in Brazil;

- If Undergraduate Completion Certificate was originally issued in a foreign institution, the student must present a certified translation of this document approved by the Consulate.

- Have good knowledge of Portuguese Language.

Other documents may be requested before enrollment is acknowledged.
